Revealing the truth about cancel culture and what's going on with it today

Welcome to Z-Pack:.one topic, 2 minutes - easy to consume and fast-acting ⚡️

If this is your first Z-Pack, welcome - I'm Zach.

I’m chronically online, finding out how the world works.

This is Hot Take Friday 🔥

⬇️ Let’s get it.

🔥 Hot Take Friday

If you haven’t heard, once again, Jerry Seinfeld has been making the rounds acting like Eeyore 🫏 , complaining how there are no good sitcoms anymore because people get offended so easily…..

This is WHACK.

Journalist David Mack explains below just how absurd Jerry’s take is 👇

Sitcoms may be less popular simply because there are more options.

Sitcoms now compete for your attention with things like UFC, which competes with Facebook which competes with YouTube which compete with live concerts which competes with sports games, and on and on and on. Why? Because there are only 24 hours in a day.

As an indicator of how we’ve passed peak “cancel culture,” just look around at some of the most popular comics in the world right now - Andrew Schultz, Theo Von, and now the return of Shane Gillis.

For more, read this post here for understanding how we’ve probably passed the peak of social unrest in the U.S. (well, as long as Trump doesn’t get reelected and fan the flames of division again for a few more years).

It’s like we’re in the 1970s, and everyone is hungover from the chaos of the 1960s.

People just wanna chill, man.

Until next week 🍻

Thanks for taking the Pack,

Zach
