💉 What happened to COVID?

As Dr. Peter writes in his thread, we’re lacking perfect data, but we’re seeing the following -

• Big decline in COVID hospitalizations

• Fewer new cases

• No new rising variants

• No scary COVID signs in wastewater (yes we look at poopoo for the Vid)

The headlines: 🦗🦗🦗

The reality: In 2020, COVID was freaky because it WAS deadlier than the flu and WAS overwhelming our hospitals, but not anymore.

Through incredible scientific inventions like the mRNA vaccines and innovative treatments, like monoclonal antibodies, we’ve basically managed to make it another run-of-the-mill disease.

If you get it, you might be down hard for a few days, but you’ll most likely be just fine.

We don’t hear about COVID anymore for a reason.
